Kofi's New Workout Plan!

OK, so with Summer Camp and all coming up, I thought to myself, "Hey, you're going to be playing a lot of competitive sports. That's what they do on camp. Your school sport is volleyball, but technically, at my school, that's not a sport. Plus I didn't attend practice all term. Hmmm. I'm going to have to get fit so that I don't look like an aged hippo attempting the New York Marathon." Ok, the real reason is that, with 1500 campers on site, about half of them female, I can't be showcasing my skinny, boney body to them. But in my defence, that has a lot to do with sport since I want to be sporting a brand new super muscular bod for them.

So I started the work out plan. Press-ups, chin-ups, sit-ups, star-jumps and tae kwon do ( I still remember a thing or two Julia).
So it kind of went like this: 4 press-ups and a sore wrist, 2 chin-ups and a sore bicep, 9 sit-ups and a sore stomach, 3 star-jumps and sore legs, and tae kwon do and a broken reading lamp.
That was the first day.

But with my determination set on the final result, I persevered. The next day, I went all out. 10 pressups, 5 chinups, 20 situps, 10 star jumps and 4 songs worth of tae kwon do. That was the second day.

On the third day, I couldn't move. All that pain that I thought I could ignore the first two days, well, it kinda got me back when I wasn't looking.
I tried to stretch but got a cramp in my thigh. So my excercise that day consisted of laying sprawled on the bedroom floor, hoping someone would come to my aid before I died of starvation and dehydration.
I had to get up by myself.

So I tried jogging. The next day, I woke up at 6am, and left the house. Just a couple of blocks to wake up those quads.
4 stupid, Kofi-hungry dogs later, my 100m sprint for safety became the day's excercise. I thought about doing something else but the OC was on.

So, days later, I've gotten nowhere except sore and paranoid about dogs jumping fences. In comparison, I think that Aged Hippo thing wasn't as bad as I made it out to be. It's like a wise man (me!) once said: No pain! NO PAIN!
I'm gonna sit and watch TV. Maybe I'll think about excercising. A bit of mental stimulation. Hmmm...Adam Brody...I mean...wait...um...never mind!
