Ok, so I indeed have the smartest producer friend in the entire world. Undoubtedly.

Today, we're sitting in class and I say to her,
"Hey, it's my friend's birthday today."
And she responds,
"Why?"

And then later, to make it worse, we're talking about the difference between having a short girlfriend and having a short boyfriend. She sums it up in this most profound of statements...

"But like, it's different for guys because they're different."

Deep. Real deep.

It's Julia's birthday today! She's eighteen! Let's all give her a strange animal from Australia, if you can manage to get it out of the country without being arrested. Get it a VISA and tell it there's a good bout of cricket on followed by a barbie. Sorry Kate.

Well here's something that doesn't happen everyday...

It snowed in South Africa.

Like, my friends and I were outside the lecture halls commenting on how it was possibly the coldest day any of us had ever experienced. And I mean, it was. Hectic stuff man. Then all of a sudden, these white flakes start falling from the sky. You should have seen everyone. I mean, picture it...snow in Africa! It was like that scene in Superman Returns where the people watch him carry the Daily Planet globe to the ground. That look of awe and amazement. Classic stuff.
